Introduction

Padakhep established a training centre in the name of Padakhep Institute of Development and Management (PIDM) in December 2008 at Adabar, Mohammadpur, and Dhaka. It offers a complete package including modest living, dining and training facilities. A team of experienced and efficient trainers has been working relentlessly in the institute. PIDM also provides training to the Padakhep staff and beneficiaries. On the basis of needs of partner organizations, PIDM responds positively to provide training support to them as well.

Objectives of PIDM

Main objectives of PIDM are to assess training and development needs of staff and beneficiaries of Padakhep, staff of partner organizations and other organizations and to improve the skill of the professionals engaged in these organizations.

Training

PIDM has established its training halls in a 6-storied well furnished new building. Three of training halls and conference room are fully air-conditioned and well equipped with training aids like overhead projector, laptop, multimedia and sound system, etc.

Dormitory

Dormitory provides accommodation to 168 participants and is located at 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th floors of the building. The PIDM has also 4 air-conditioned VIP rooms suitable for accommodation of 20 guests.

Dining hall and Food

A nearby spacious dining hall provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the participants and is located near the dormitory at 3rd floor. The hall is open for service daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
